La settimana del Museo

Such initiative aims at presenting the Educational Silk Museum, its machinery and devices to a number of Italian textile technicians and visitors for a whole week.
On this occasion, the Museum project “Centro di documentazione del disegno tessile lariano” is going to be presented as well. The project, a computerised database collecting textile patterns from 1900 to 1980, was made possible thanks to the cooperation of CNR, Tessile di Como, Centro Volta, Università, Istituto di Setificio, Stazione Sperimentale per la Seta.
