All groups shall reserve their guided tour.

It is possible to book a guided tour also out of the Museum opening hours according to the availability and previous compulsory reservation:
cost of the ticket + € 30.00 per group.

The Museum is completely accessible to disabled visitors.

- Concessions for groups of students (max. 25 students, up to 2 teachers free of charge for each group): € 4.00 per person

- In case it is not possible for the group/school to follow the previously booked guided tour, a timely notice of at least three working days is required; if not, the group shall pay 50% of the total amount as a penalty.
- It is possible for teachers interested to know more about the Museum activity to have a free entrance before reserving for their own classes. The same right is extended to Tour Operators and Travel Agencies before booking on behalf of their customers.
- English guided tours shall be arranged in advance according to the availability: cost of the ticket + € 60.00

How do I reach the Museum?

What can I see at the Museum?
It is possible to see the whole silk manufacturing process, from silkworm breeding to finishing. It covers a surface of 1000 square meters and it has got 8 rooms displaying machines from the end of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century.

Are there guided tours?
Yes, there are Italian guided tours for groups of more than 10 people (during the Museum opening hours). The guided tour is included in the admission charges.

Can a group visit the Museum without a tour guide?
No, it cannot. The guided tour for groups is compulsory.

Is it possible to have guided tours in a foreign language?
Yes, it is. On request, the Museum staff can arrange English guided tours. For further information about other languages, please contact the Museum directly.
