Tell me a story of silk, part IV. When Lario Lake roared

Two small parade guns (cannons), from the beautiful Villa Pizzo in Como, are the main protagonists of the fourth story of Tell me a Story of Silk. By this tale When Como lake roared the Museum tells about a critical moment of Como history when, in 1848, the two guns were borrowed to drive 1600 Austrian soldiers out of their barracks settled in Como. The two guns are now exhibited in our Museum till Sunday 13th September.
