Sunday Extraordinary Opening

The Museum will be open on Sunday 17th April from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the bobbin lace exhibition.  

Concerning the section dedicated to the European bobbin lace competition the International Jury of experts met on 25th and 26th March and it is be possible now to admire the participating works in the area dedicated to the competition.

The President of the Jury is Ms Carla Paggi Colussi, while the other members are: Nelly Favro Comino, Rita Fattore, Annamaria Isacco, Daniela Lanzi, Ernestina Marelli, Iva Proskova (from the Czech Republic) and Mira Fidanza (from Switzerland).

The award ceremony will take place on 14th March at 5 p.m..

The Historical Section is centred on the Italian Unification and presents the special TAVOLOITALIA, the table representing the shape of Italy which has been displayed at Triennale in Milan on the occasion of an exhibition on Expo 2015 and whose title is Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life.
