The Educational Silk Museum of Como invites you to the presentation of “Textile Geographies: encounters between sign and matter”, a temporary exhibition focusing on the research and creativity of the Fashion Department students from I.S.I.S. Setificio Paolo Carcano.The project stems from the students' sensitivity. Inspired by the pages of the book "La moda non è un mestiere per cuori solitari" ("Fashion is not a craft for lonely hearts") by Patrizia Sardo Marras, they have translated words into visual traces. Through a meticulous study of shapes, colors, and fabrics, the students have successfully created a special dialogue, blending the textile tradition of Como with the atmosphere of Alghero.The event—part of the “IL VIAGGIO” (“THE JOURNEY”) program, promoted in synergy with the Ville e Musei del Lago di Como coordination network—will be an opportunity to discover their creations up close and celebrate the design journey of these young creators.📍 Educational Silk Museum of Como — Penelope Room⏰ Friday, May 29th, at 6:00 PM
