Gift-shop
It is possible to purchase high-quality silk items, exclusively made in Como, at affordable prices:
- Fashionable foulards and scarves made of silk, wool/silk, and linen/silk;
- Patterned jacquard ties reporting the Museo della Seta di Como logo and available in a wide range of patterns and colours;
- Pure silk yarns of various thickness and spinning for embroidery, crochet and bobbin lace;
- Transparent little boxes of cocoons containing a small hank of raw silk as well.
Finally, many silk accessories are also available: bags, key rings, handkerchiefs and much more.


Book-shop
Many books and publications are on sale at the Book-shop: the Catalogue, the “Guide to the Educational Silk Museum of Como”, the publications of the Museum exhibitions and folders on different silk bobbin lace techniques.
Moreover, it is also possible to buy posters dedicated to the Museum and to silkworm breeding, which are copies of the original one - dating back to 1850 - on display at the Museum.
Books on the history of the silk manufacturing process are also available.
